Theatre Workshops

Theatre is central to RTA’s program. It allows us to put ourselves in another’s shoes, developing empathy, trying out new emotions, choices and ways of communicating. Performances focus on collaborative projects in which each person shares responsibility for the group’s success.

RTA’s theatre workshops include improvisation, Shakespeare studies, play reading, script analysis, character study and devised, physical and forum theatre.

"The most enjoyable experience in this play was (aside from every moment) when all the problems came and we stood together and figured it out. For me, it shows that we’re all not immature boys but that we can be men when we need to be."
